Record linkage study: evaluating the safety of COVID-19 vaccines

Part III of the study is to assess the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine, by evaluating the occurrences of different adverse events and analysing the medical records of COVID-19 vaccine recipients.

Study Purpose

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relations between COVID-19 vaccinations and following adverse events and to look at the long-term effects of the vaccines to evaluate their safety by using electronic medical records.

Study Content

The study is broken down into three areas of interest, with the purpose to look at adverse events of vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals; rare cases arising after vaccination and exploring the causes of adverse events that arise from vaccinations. This study involves a long-term evaluation of up to 30 months.
